At Fresh from the Sea, Fish Shop, Calum and Tracey Greenhalgh love fish and want to share their passion with you. They can be found in Port Isaac, North Cornwall, where they are lucky to be able to catch world class seafood on their doorstep and be in beautiful surroundings. Calum and Tracey live on the Port Isaac Clifftop looking out to sea - their best times are when they spot dolphins and basking sharks passing by. Calum has his our own boat 'Mary D' which he takes out daily to catch Crab and Lobster, he then brings his catch up the hill to the Fresh Fish Shop, Port Isaac where he usually draws a crowd all wanting to look at the fish.
At Fresh from the Sea Crab and Lobster is cooked and hand picked on the premises - you can buy it whole, dressed, in a sandwich or salad, boxed to take home or even alive.
Fresh from the Sea specialises in sustainable Cornish Fish, Mackerel and Pollack are caught by Calum using a Handline - both are recognised as sustainable fisheries by the MSC. There is a small selection of premium wet fish from other Cornish Day Boats - all members of the Responsible Fishing Scheme.
A fabulous range of Mussels, Oysters and Clams are available from nearby Rock Shellfish on the Camel estuary, who also supply seasonal samphire (scrumptious with Scallops).
Tregida Smokehouse, from slightly further north at Otterham bring a selection of their finest Smoked Fish - their smoked mackerel tastes amazing.
While you are browsing you can have a cup of Coffee, a piece Cake and pick up a lovely gift for your seaside home.
Why not visit and have a Handpicked Crab Sandwich (or a Lobster salad) in the sunny courtyard (or inside if wet)
and support the Cornish Fishing Industry.
